AN OFFICE;
founded in Istanbul, is a collaborative design practice that bridges architecture, urban design, landscape, and research. What began as a shared workspace of creative minds has evolved into a dynamic studio, shaped by experience, curiosity, and a passion for redefining contemporary living.
Our approach is rooted in innovation, adaptability, and context-driven design. Each project whether at the scale of a city, a building, or an interior becomes an opportunity to explore new spatial possibilities that respond to both present needs and future transformations. We see architecture not as a static product, but as an evolving process where function, aesthetics, and sustainability intersect.
Collaboration is at the core of what we do. We embrace a non-hierarchical and open-ended design methodology, where experimentation and dialogue lead to unexpected yet meaningful outcomes. By engaging in academic research, competitions, and interdisciplinary partnerships, we continually challenge conventional boundaries and expand our perspective.

İbrahim Anıl BİÇER FOUNDING ARCHITECT
He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Architecture Department of Istanbul Yıldız Technical University. During his education, he participated in numerous national and international competitions and workshops, achieving various awards in the competitions he entered. Between 2009 and 2012, he worked as a project architect and project manager at EAA-Emre Arolat Architects, contributing as a project manager to several award-winning projects, including the Bergama Cultural Center, Zorlu Center, MSGSU Painting and Sculpture Museum, and Bodrum Yalıkavak Marina.
From 2012 to 2020, he served as the Concept Design Department Coordinator at BKA-Bahadır Kul Architects. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the Building Science Department at Mimar Sinan University and has achieved success in multiple national and international competitions. He continues his academic career as a Lecturer in the Interior Architecture Department of the Faculty of Art and Design at Nişantaşı University and participates in juries and seminars at various universities.
In 2020, he founded An Office Architecture, continuing his professional career under this architectural formation.
